...And now for something completely different.
At the AMI Salon this past summer, I think four or five of the winning entries involved sperms/eggs/fertilization.* And I'm glad I saw them, because otherwise, I wouldn't have thought to include a multicellular corona radiata layer on my ovum. I haven't had a good embryology lesson since high school.
Be prepared for an end-of-the-semester creation-dump over the next week or two. :)

ReplyDeleteAnd nice picture of sperm race. I must say the colors are not what I would have expected from you (which I guess is cool, right? Wouldn't want to be overly predictable...). Would it have been too garish or intense with more saturation?
