Hi! I'm Josy. And this is a blog containing my doodles. (hence: "JosyDoodle.")
JosyDoodle began in 2006 when, after many many years of avoiding art classes, I decided to pursue medical illustration as a career. In order to dip my toe back into drawing again, I posted a new drawing/doodle every day.
Unsurprisingly, I burned out early in 2007 after 100 days of this.
On the bright side, I'm no longer posting drawings I hate just for the sake of posting something, so I like to think the quality around here has improved somewhat.
I'm currently attending grad school at UIC (University of Illinois at Chicago) for Biomedical Visualization. Sometimes, I'll regale you with the medical art I've created; other times, I just want to show you a pretty picture I've made.
